GOS HAWK
Coaching course
The course is run by a qualified archery coach from Goshawk Archers.
The course would be held outdoors and would be for a minimum of 6 hours, the coaching would continue whatever the weather.
The course emphasis is on SAFETY and correct archery form.
Any person who fails to reach an acceptable standard will fail the course. If any person acts in an irresponsible manner at any time during the course they will fail and be asked to leave and forfeit their fee.
COST OF THE COURSE
£35 per person
This cost covers training by a qualified coach, the use of the club equipment.
CLOTHING
Sensible outdoor clothing relative to the time of year, that which allows you to move easily but not too loose or baggy which could be caught by the released bow string. Boots are ideal footwear but not mandatory.
CHILD PROTECTION POLICY
At all events organised by Goshawk Archers or the National Field Archery Society all children up to the age of seventeen should be accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian.
If a parent or legal guardian cannot accompany their child at any such event, it will be their responsibility to inform an official of the event in writing that they have nominated another person to act on their behalf.
It is the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian to vet the person they nominate to act as temporary guardian and also inform that person of their duties and liabilities when acting as temporary guardian.
Coaching of a child will only be done in the presence of and with the consent of the parent or legal guardian.
